Back to the Middle East, Ignored So Long; Peachy Keen for the Emir of Qatar; Conversation with Care Giver About the Nature of Love; Conversation with Old/New Guy; I Shall Return Says Alexis to Fans; Photograph Showing the Two Unicorns Illustrating Ambivalence and Two Life Styles

This blog was to feature the concept of evil in the Islamic faith, but changed my mind. Perhaps the next blog as it is partially written.

Faithful readers will wonder what happened to my obsession with the Middle East. Have not spoken of the Middle East for days, perhaps weeks, Many, many reasons for this – the US political situation has certainly heated up, the silly virus is so out of control and people are being so stupid but no one else speaks out about the silliness, the ridiculousness of the vaccine situation is appalling and then, very recently have been rather obsessed with a nold/new relationship. However, the political situation is looking good, great actually, because Biden is making all of the right moves.I have given up on talking about the virus and vaccines because no one appears to listen so it is briefly back to the Middle East.

The Emir of Qatar must be dancing in the streets of Doha. He deserves to be dancing because he has done so much to bring peace to the Middle East but was stymied by such folk as the United Arab Emeritus and Saudi Arabia. But here is the latest and greatest news. This is from the Jerusalem News, I think “The US plans to reevaluate the Trump administration’s decision to sell F-35 jets to the United Arab Emirates.A US State Department official said on Wednesday that the Biden administration “temporarily paused” for review several pending arms sales to US allies, amounting to billions of dollars. Among them are sales of F-35 fighter jets to the UAE and precision-guided munitions to Saudi Arabia.US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, addressed the decision to review the F-35 sale to the UAE. Speaking at a press conference at the State Department, Blinken said that when it comes to arms sales, “it is typical at the start of an administration to review any pending sales, to make sure that what is being considered is something that advances our strategic objectives and advances our foreign policy, so that’s what we’re doing at this moment.” “We very much support the Abraham Accords, we think that Israel normalizing relations with its neighbors and other countries in the region is a very positive development and so, we applaud them, and we hope that there may be an opportunity to build on it in the months and years ahead,” Blinken added. “We’re also trying to make sure that we have a full understanding of any commitments that may have been made in securing those agreements, and that’s something we’re looking at right now,” he said. Blinken also addressed the prospects of rejoining the nuclear agreement with Iran. “President Biden has been very clear in saying that if Iran comes back into full compliance with its obligations under the JCPOA, the United States would do the same thing, and then we would use that as a platform, to build with our allies and partners, what we call the longer and stronger agreement and to deal with a number of other issues that are deeply problematic in the relationship with Iran,” he said.”

So everything is sounding peachy keen. With any sort of luck the temporary pause of jets to the United Arab Emirates will become permanent. Comments were made, by me, some time ago about the show of armaments on National Day in Qatar. Days after my comments were made, there was an article in Al Jazeera that confirmed my suspicions. It seemed unusual, that perhaps my blog had been read by someone in command. Will look for blog and the subsequent Al Jazeera article, it is on this computer somewhere.

Then there is the blog to write using the May 31, 1943 article about Saudi Arabia showing how far it has come since them. It seems it might be going back there as the economic situation is horrible. That is why the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia lifted the ban against Qatar and hugged the Emir of Qatar when he arrived to sign the peace agreement. I am not stupid, you know, hardly any one thinks so.

I tease the new guy about the Emir of Qatar as a family member told me that the Emir was in love with me. Do I think so – I doubt it as he has not even met me but, as have said to Care Giver:
Me: He has not even met me, How could I he love me?. But, come to think of it, not meeting me seems to be the key to them being in love with me. Men that have met me, do not fall in love with me with the same fervour.

CG: What is fervour?

Me: Passion, ardour, enthusiasm.

CG: But I have met you, known you very well for almost two years. I love you.

Me; Well and I love you. But we do not have push, push love for one another or any intentions. You have a wife, for years and you are most faithful to her. She is not at all jealous of me and likes me a lot. She does not speak English, I am sure that helps.

CG: Baby, you make me laugh

Me: Daddy, you make me laugh!

But onto the email with the old/new guy,

He: Well I am just humble, might not be a Qatar billionaire but I know that I adore you more than he would.

Me: How do you know that?? I think he is big on adoration and big on everything.

He: Well, if it comes to that I will face him in a boxing match. I bet he is not manly and even more I’ll satisfy your womanly desires more. Also you have to believe in me. I’m in a foreign country and I am yours, support me on this, I got you.

One may not believe this but these conversations actually do take place. Honest they do! I am surrounded by the best of people, well not exactly surrounded as, he is, as he says in a foreign country. But when this stupid pandemic is over, in about a year, we may live in the same country, at least for part of the year. I regaled many people with his picture yesterday.

They: He is so handsome. But you will not leave here and be with him will you? Please do not leave us!

Me: Please do not worry! I can not travel for a whole year probably.
They: Ok but what then??

Me: I think quickly and I have a solution. I will keep my apartment here and live here some of the time and there some of the time. That is, if it works out. If not I will be here all of the time. OK?

They: OK. Alexis you are so clever.

Me: Thanks

The two photographs illustrate my ‘ambivalence’, shown by comparing the two unicorns. The HUGE one from the Royal Family of Qatar, the smaller one purchased by Alexis McBride. I think I have thought of a name for the little guy. It is Horney. The llama and the unicorn appear to be kissing – interspecies sexuality, no less. I am funny!! So Delhi Llama and Horney are kissing and we all know, that one thing can lead to another. Hahahaha
