More Good News From Vancouver; News from My Important Appointment; An Interesting Book with a Strange Message’ Two Definitions

So there is more good news from Vancouver which is encouraging me to perhaps return. I had emailed my wonderful YWCA trainer Ayda but did not receive a response but then, rather accidentally, I looked in junk mail and there it was – a response she had written days before. She said she missed me, and I do miss her as she is excellent and we laugh and joke with one another and I tell her the strange stories of my life. She will have a lot to catch up on. Hahahaha. Then from Instagram from the Vancouver School of Music came word of a huge event on January 26,2019.
Me: I will be back I think. WOW What timing.
They: Oh wow! l That is impeccable timing! There will be a lot of people  at the event though, so it will be a good idea to get there early as it is first come, first serve.
Me: Thanks for the heads up. It will be easy as I live just around the corner.

Then I have heard from Adam, we are driving each other out of our minds but I am able to laugh at it. I hope he is able to laugh as well. He really is so patient and so sweet. OMG I am laughing at the thought of it and him. The poor man, he must not know what to think. He patiently questioned;
He: Are you anxious about something?
Me: Of course I am! I am changing my whole life yet again. But you make me laugh.

I was going to rant about Uber but quite honestly I do not have the energy to do so at the moment and I have to go out and get a carnation. A rather long story and rather unbelievable. I will tell it with a certain person’s permission. You will laugh.

So my appointment yesterday was extremely important and I did learn a lot about myself – things that made it possible for me to calm down a bit and approach the self created changes in my life with some degree of equanimity. That shall be the word of the day, it is a noun she was able to confront the daily crises with equanimity: composure, calmness, calm, level-headedness, self-possession, self-control, even-temperedness, coolness, cool-headedness, presence of mind; serenity, placidity, tranquillity, phlegm, impassivity, imperturbability, unexcitability, equilibrium; poise, self-assurance, assurance, self-confidence, aplomb, sangfroid, nerve; informal cool, unflappability; rare ataraxy. ANTONYMS anxiety.. The secret of success, the way to achieve placidity, tranquility and presence of mind is to take one step at a time and not over think anything. It is important also to rid of life of people who think differently than you do. I have begun to do just that and it feels better already.

But then there were other strange events. I happened by the Book Passage at the Ferry Building following my ride across the Bay.  There was a book signing and I met the author who was a very nice man. The book was purchased, I told him he could write what he wanted. This is what he wrote;
He: Alexis See you at breakfast. Steve (with a heart)

Honestly, I have no idea what he meant. Perhaps the blog of yesterday with the Hershey chocolate kisses? Anyway the book is Employee to Entrepreneur. Anyone would say that I do not need the book for two main reasons.
I am retired and do not necessarily need extra income.
I have a friend who is a renowned entrepreneur. Perhaps entrepreneur could be the second work of the day, an entrepreneur who had set up his own firms: businessman, businesswoman, business person, business executive, enterpriser, speculator, tycoon, magnate; dealer, trader, buyer and seller, merchant; commercial intermediary, intermediary, middleman, promoter, impresario; informal wheeler-dealer, mogul, big shot, bigwig, whizz-kid, mover and shaker, go-getter, high-flyer, hustler. So my friend is a whiz-kid, a move and shaker, a go-getter and an enterpriser. He is not any of the others or he would not be my friend. So there! So there! So there! Although I have certainly met and got to know a mogul, a big shot, a hustler – all rolled into one.
I gotta go as a friend is coming over. The picture is of Steve’s book. It seems very well written and clear and helpful.
