All of This is Beyond Belief Inconceivable and Incredible; Beginning with an Analysis of Whether My Being Chosen was Burden or a Responsibility; Then a Horrifying Reel Gaza Reel Sent to Me and Others By a Brave Man: Ending with Laughter is the Best Medicine Illustrated by Many Laughter Quotes

The following was written, but not posted, last week or the week before. I had either written or told a man that I had been chosen by Allah (SWT) to be of the Islamic Faith because of my blog. I have told other people of this and written about it. It can be found in About Me, a permanent fixture, easy enough to fine.

I met this man about a month ago while I was in Bali.for four days as I had to leave Malaysia as my 90 day tourist visa was expiring. So left on August 12 to return on August 16. He was visiting Bali, a vacation from his job as a mining engineer in East Indonesia. He was there alone, I was there alone. We met in the delicatessen of the Bali Hilton Resort. We have been in contact since our first meeting on August 13, 2024.

This the Introduction There goes – this is what I had written and was able to retrieve as the events of this rather momentous day emerged.

“A very sensitive, empathetic man (there are perhaps three of them in the entire world ) hearing for the first time of the awesome task I was charged with said:
He: That is amazing to be chosen but it must be a burden.
Me: Oh thank you for saying that. It has been. No one I have ever told this ‘secret’ to has ever said that to me. It gives me relief to hear you say that. It was so empathetic. That is one thing we have in common, so important. We are both empathetic.
Later, he responded to this text by saying: . .
He: I said, “its a big responsibility but it was a great conversation
Me: That is even better than what you really said. That describes it perfectly.
He: sent a sticker saying Alhamdulillah

Days later, decided to contrast and compare the two words, hoping to learn from this expertise.
Burden 1 a load, typically a heavy one.2. a duty or misfortune that causes hardship, anxiety, or grief; 3. the main responsibility for achieving a specified aim or task:

Burden synonyms: load, charge responsibility, onus, charge, duty, obligation, trouble, care, problem, worry,, tribulation, affliction, trial, difficulty, misfortune, strain, stress, encumbrance, millstone, cross to bear, albatross;

Responsibility: 1) the state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone:. Used in a sentence,: a true leader takes responsibility for their team and helps them achieve goals. 2) (often responsibilities) a thing that one is required to do as part of a job, role, or legal obligation 3) (responsibility to/toward) [in singular] a moral obligation to behave correctly toward or in respect of: Used a sentence : individuals have a responsibility to control personal behavior
.
Combining the synonyms, it can be someone’s duty, task, role, onus province, using trustworthiness level-headedness, rationality, reason, sense, maturity, reliability, dependability, competence with leadership preforming a duty with influence

The more I looked into it found that responsibility was the right word. It is my task, role and province to right the blog using my trustworthiness, reason and sense and competence, showing leadership, influencing others.

It is more positive, more accurate and less of a burden to see the writing of my blog not a misfortune, a milestone, a tribulation, an albatross, or a cross to bear. It is an awesome responsibility but one that I have been able to sustain. It gives ] my life meaning.”

That was as far as I got. For a number of reasons abandoned this as a topic for the blog – but it remained in my drafts.

Yesterday I sent my blog master, my Computer Guru Chris a story with the following request.
Me: Can this be shared somewhere on the blog or on my YouTube
He: Okay. Added to last blog.

This is what IT was, shared to others with the following message to those who received it.
Me: This was sent to me from a Gaza man who had responded to one of my reels (not sure which one at this time), but it was one of me wearing my Palestinian scarf). He sent the following video to me asking me to put it on an Instagram story but I was able to put it on my blog as well.. It is Horrifying. I am amusing but there is another side to my personality. I am empathetic. Too much so at times.

This my correspondence to BilalAhiatt, the Gaza man
Me: I will also put it on my blog which spoke out strongly today against the horror. My blog is alexismcbride.com I have had a million views since it began six years ago. I make no money from it and have no advertising. Just got the message that I was able to put it on the blog Alhamdulillah. I will do the Introduction on another blog

Our conversation has continued.

Hello Alexis . Good to know about your blog.
Me: It is blessed by Allah that I am able to do so. Alhamdulillah
(Hearted by him)
Me: I am now writing an Introduction. I was Chosen to be of the faith almost four years ago because of this blog. It is actually rather frightening. But I am so blessed to be able to do what I can to reveal the evil and the atrocities that are taking place . Allah put the two of us together I am certain.
He: I noticed you’re really impressed by Malaysia. I’m also seriously thinking about moving there for a while when the opportunity comes up.
Me: You ABSOLUTELY MUST. I can try to help you.

I will now send this to my precious Blog Master in the UK asking him to post this along with the horrifying image.

I would like to thank Chris for posting, Lexis Suites for the WiFi and the magnificent support and love they have shown me over these last four months and OF COURSE the Bali Guy who has a number of different nicknames – Buddy is one, Saint and the Poor Man are another two because of what I put him through. We laugh together constantly. In the midst of the horror. Laughter is the best medicine.

This straight from Google to you.
“Laughter is the best medicine because it affects the human body and mind. It gives positive vibes and hopes to new life. It increases immunity and improves the resistance power to fight against diseases. It improves blood circulation in the human body.” “The saying “laughter is the best medicine” is believed to have originated — albeit now in a snappier form —from Proverbs 17.22 of the King James Bible. But it’s more than a proverb. The power of laughter has long been recognized by both medical and spiritual experts”
Proverbs is part of the Hebrew Bible, the King James Version has been altered over time. I am convinced that the Word of God found in the Quran has a great deal to say about laughter and it is, after all, the Word of God, the Word of Allah (SWT) .

There are several quotations about laughter. I shall end this blog with them. Leave Them Laughing has actually been the theme of my life. That is why men never get over me. It is true, have funny stories to provide it.

I am a complete and utter fan of Maya Angelou This is what she says:
“I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t laugh.” – Maya Angelou.
“We don’t laugh because we’re happy – we’re happy because we laugh.” – William James

“If we smile at someone, he or she will smile back. And a smile costs nothing. We should plague everyone with joy. If we are to die in a minute, why not die happily, laughing?” – Swami Satchidananda

“Through humor, you can soften some of the worst blows that life delivers. And once you find laughter, no matter how painful your situation might be, you can survive.” – Bill Cosby

“Laughter is poison to fear.” – George R.R. Martin

“Gratitude helps you to grow and expand; gratitude brings joy and laughter into your life and into the lives of all those around you.” – Eileen Caddy

“There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.” – Charles Dickens

“If you wish to glimpse inside a human soul and get to know someone, don’t bother analyzing his ways of being silent, of talking, of weeping, of seeing how much he is moved by noble ideas; you will get better results if you just watch him laugh. If he laughs well, he’s a good person.” – Fyodor Dostoyevsky

“If we couldn’t laugh we would all go insane.” – Robert Frost

“I have seen what a laugh can do. It can transform almost unbearable tears into something bearable, even hopeful.” – Bob Hope

“A person who knows how to laugh at himself will never cease to be amused.” – Shirley MacClaine
