Shame on the United States of America,Cheers and Great Honour to Be Paid to Qatar; Look At What Qatar Has Done And Continues to Do: Arrogance Defined; My Three Names, Alexis, Ayla, Baby; Arrogant Defined; I Answer to Alexis, Alya and Baby
This statement was made at the United Nations on October 9, 2020: “Based on the State of Qatar’s belief in the importance of work established on the principle of cooperation and partnership, and to mitigate the repercussions of the pandemic HE the Permanent Ambassador added that the State of Qatar since the beginning of the crisis has provided medical assistance to nearly 78 countries. Her Excellency explained that the total governmental and non-governmental aid amounted to more than USD 89 million, as USD 20 million were allocated to the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations, and USD 10 million to the World Health Organization.”
What has the United States done???? I read that Trump cut back funding to the World Health Organization and really has done nothing to help other countries. Pathetic United States of America, pathetic – the country of my citizenship but not of my birth. It is a joke that this country is called the United States of America when there is nothing United about its States. Probably never was, as evidenced by the Civil War. Remember that one you Arrogant Americans. The definition is having or revealing an exaggerated sense of one’s own importance. Its synonyms are: conceited, hubristic, self-important, opinionated, egotistic, full of oneself, superior; overbearing, pompous, high-handed, swaggering, boastful, bumptious, blustering, patronizing, condescending, disdainful, contemptuous, imperious; proud, vain, immodest; lofty, lordly, snobbish, snobby, overweening, supercilious, smug; pretentious, affected; scornful, mocking, sneering, scoffing; hoity-toity, high and mighty, uppity, snooty, stuck-up, toffee-nosed, fancy-pants, snotty, jumped up, too big for one’s boots, big-headed. Antonyms are humble, modest. The USA regards itself as the leader of the free world. Do not think so anymore, they have been replaced by Qatar – embassies all over the world and an extremely active foreign affairs minister whose last name is Al-Thani. Everyone’s last name seems to be Al-Thani (seriously).
By the way, there is also the United Arab Emirates. There is nothing united about them either, no matter how hards the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi may strive to make it so. Enters into nefarious agreements with Israel, blockade Qatar. It is not going to work and has not. At one point thought that this Crown Prince of Dhabi was OK – for one thing he had only had one wife, and was well regarded in the world. Do not think so anymore.
My favourite of the synonyms are hoity-toity. I do not think that the following statements would be considered to be patronizing, condescending or disdainful. I do find it rather eerie that the first name of the Permanent Representative to the United Nations is Alya. My Muslim name is Alya – did not know of her existence at the time the name was assumed. Now my name is not proceeded by Her Excellency and her last name goes well with her first name Al -Thani. Should I assume Alya as my permanent first name I must change my last name – McBride does not go with with Alya. One possibility is to take back my birth name of Dryburgh. I do know how to change your name as I was a lawyer, it is court procedure. But now is not a good time and passports and the like would also have to be altered. No travel plans at the moment but it would be a huge hassle. I do recall from my lawyer years that one can change ones name just by constant usage. There is no immediacy. But, at one point in time, I intend to visit Mecca. That would require a name change as Alexis McBride has not been kind to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and he can deny access. He has denied access to all people from Qatar. What a nice man he Is – preventing Muslims from following their faith. Crown Prince, best you had mend your ways or else you may get zapped.(zap is not a word found in the Quran, by the way) A very thorough and informed opinion piece on Al Jazeera spoke of the major problems he is facing at the present time and that his alliance with Israel will get him nowhere. Israeli would never send its soldiers to defend him and would change him a fortune if the purchase of armaments is desired. My goodness, I do wonder if the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia is a reader – there are 4 in Saudi Arabia. Perhaps I am warning him, being a Messenger. The only responsibility of a Messenger is to clearly communicate.
No One could accuse me of being other than a Clear Communicator and this is not being too big for one’s boots or being uppity. To be perfectly clear Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, you need to repent, believe and perform a charitable act. But all of this must be done with conviction. The man may be toppled by the young people in his country as they are suffering with an enormous unemployment rate (29% as I recall). Remember what they did with Mussolini when the Italians had enough? It was not pretty – not pretty at all. Not sure why I am thinking about that but what would they do to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. They would certainly strip him of his Arab dress which hides his obesity. But again, only Allah can punish him as he is the Ruler of his country, not his demented father.
My goodness, despite my good intentions of steering clear of the Middle East – I am back. But on a lighter note taking place back home. This is a conversation between Personal Driver and myself taking place while we were driving to Marin one day.
Me: I think I am serving a function in your life. You were an excellent father and took justifiable pride in that. But now your children are, by and large, grown and you must let go.
He: You are right about that Alexis
Me: Well in many ways I am your child. You lead me in the ways of the faith and you do take such good care of me. That gives your life meaning, I am sure.
He: You are 100% correct about that.
But this is what happened next. He started calling me Baby and so I call him Daddy – not in front of others as they would think that we were crazy. Out of our minds. But here is a recent conversation we had.
He: I called my wife who is in Pakistan for a couple of months. She said: How is baby?
Me; That is so funny!!! I hope you told her I was fine.
He: I did! Told her that you were very happy.
Me; Good!
He: But I was in prayer with Allah and I asked him to care for you, but I called you Baby.
Me: That is so funny! But do not worry as Allah is all knowing and all powerful. He knew who you were talking about.
He; You are 100% right. You are so smart and have learned so much about being a Muslim.
Me; Thanks. I worked at it as you well know.
He: I am proud of you.
Me; Thank you. Thank You. I think Allah Is proud of me too.
He: I am sure he is.
So I have three names actually. 1) Alexis 2) Alya 3) Baby. I do answer to all three. Hahahaha So the Sultan is not the only one who has three names. Hahahaha Perhaps Fazza is his Muslim name, it means One Who Cares. But the only person or thing he cares about is himself. That is not coming from anger but by the facts before us all.
