Back to the Genocide: My Daily Apparel, My Palestine Scarf; Al Jazeera Speaks the Truth Eloquently in Prose and Poetry; Mystifying U of A Connection: Hunter Biden Did Not Fund the Genocide But I Did: Mind Boggling Defined: Photos and Reels of Me and My Palestine Scarf

Each, and every, morning in recent days  I wear my Palestine scarf – usually as a head scarf but occasionally around my shoulders. At the conclusion of this blog and on Instagram you will see a reel I made and hear of the responses that were made. It is most prophetic – I hope and pray, actually filled with optimism.

This morning after sending off my blog of the day and performing many other tasks decided to go and see what was going on in this troubled world . Glimpsed something about protests in Israel from BBC News beaming from Reception. Therefore, decided to see what was really going on by turning to Al Jazeera. I found what I was looking for. Oh My Allah what a beginning, look at this!! . Never, ever  did I ever believe it could be this bad.
“For the past 11 months, Israel’s “reality war theatre” has offered a view of all-out genocide in the Gaza Strip, where the official death toll has reached nearly 41,000. A July Lancet study found that the true number of deaths may well top 186,000 – and that is only if the killing ends soon.”

I have no idea WHY  there is such an enormous discrepancy between the official deaths and the true number of deaths. How can this be I wonder? Nevertheless, I  continue to read on. I am reading on of my favorite and on of the best.  Al Jazeera correspondents, the title is not the least bit reassuring: Netanyahu and the Israeli protesters are on the same genocidal page A desire to end the genocide in Gaza is not what motivates anti-government protests in Israel.

As you shall see the prose is nothing sort of amazing, as the truth is revealed.
“Although certain wannabe peaceniks among the international commentariat have blindly attributed the protests to a desire to end the bloodshed, the fact of the matter is that Palestinian blood is not high on the list of concerns. Rather, the only lives that matter in the besieged, pulverised, and genocide-stricken Gaza Strip are the lives of the captives – whose captivity, it bears underscoring, is entirely a result of Israeli policy and Israel’s unceasing sadistic treatment of Palestinians.”

She also looks to history, Something NEVER  done in broadcast news.
“During Operation Protective Edge in 2014, for example, no more than six Israeli civilians were killed. And yet Israel maintained its monopoly on victimisation”.

The eloquence continues.
“Even among Netanyahu’s detractors, there persists a general consensus as to the unilateral sacrosanctity of Israeli life, which translates into the assumption of an inalienable right to slaughter Palestinians. And as the latest episode of Israel’s “reality war theatre” drags on – with related Israeli killing sprees available for viewing in the West Bank and Lebanon, too – this show is really getting old. One would hope Israeli audiences will eventually tire of it all and walk out, but for the time being bloodbaths are a guaranteed blockbuster.”

The correspondent  is the mighty  Belén Fernández is the author of Inside Siglo XXI: Locked Up in Mexico’s Largest Immigration Detention Center (OR Books, 2022), Checkpoint Zipolite: Quarantine in a Small Place (OR Books, 2021), Exile: Rejecting America and Finding the World (OR Books, 2019), Martyrs Never Die: Travels through South Lebanon (Warscapes, 2016), and The Imperial Messenger: Thomas Friedman at Work (Verso, 2011). She is a contributing editor at Jacobin Magazine, and has written for the New York Times, the London Review of Books blog, Current Affairs, and Middle East Eye, among numerous other publications.

There is other news of Gaza, another Al Jazeera article features a poem.
“This defiance to policies and acts of erasure is deeply rooted in the history of Palestinian resistance, expressed both in words and actions. When I last spoke with my niece, Amal, shortly after she had turned 18, I asked her what she wished for on her birthday. She responded by reciting an excerpt from the great Palestinian poet Fadwa Tuqan’s A Call of the Land that reflects the Palestinian spirit:

I ask nothing more than
to die in my country,
to dissolve and merge with the grass,
to give life to a flower
that a child of my country will pick.
All I ask is to remain in the bosom of my country,
as soil,
grass,
a flower.”

This story is going to have the  the strangest of endings. This was written by Dr. Ghada Ageel who is a third-generation Palestinian refugee and is currently a visiting professor at the department of political science at the University of Alberta situated at amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton), Treaty 6 territory in Canada.

This is the unlikely ending. The University of Alberta located in Edmonton, Alberta Canada is my alma mater. How absolutely mystifying. At the request of my alma mater I recently completed an alumni page. The U of A is  honoring graduates of 1964 and 1974. I am proud to be have earned a B.A (Sociology) in 1964. The convocation was on my 21 birthday, May 29, 1964. Honest!! I shall direct my blog master to place the page on the blog. To say the very least my page does NOT resemble anyone else’s of that graduating class. Just read in the Toronto Star that Canadian universities are utterly failing due to underfunding. More about that later, I guess.

That edition of Al Jazeera had other news under its banner of US Elections. The USA is in trouble for quite another reason, although I am convinced that news of this is repressed. There is an enormous tax revolt, people are not paying their taxes. There is nothing the IRS can do about it if millions of people start saying “Hell No. My tax dollars are not to be used to kill children – to stage a genocide of such an epic scale. But wait until you hear this – and you are about to!  I was absolutely and thoroughly shocked to read this in Al Jazeera. Can you believe this? I cannot.Talk about evil!!!

Hunter Biden, son of United States President Joe Biden, has pleaded guilty to federal tax evasion, as his lawyers seek a speedy resolution to the election-year case.At a federal courthouse in Los Angeles on Thursday, defence lawyer Abbe Lowell told the judge that Biden would change his plea from “not guilty” on all nine counts he faces.”

So MY TAX DOLLAR bought bombs, armaments, weapons of mass destruction to kill in the Gaza genocide but the President’s son’s money was not. Why??? Because he was not paying any taxes – he evaded his rightful taxation.

Well I guess he will get his comeuppance as this is what he will face.

“There is overwhelming evidence of the defendant’s guilt,” Lowell told the judge. “This can be resolved today. It’s not a complicated issue.”Standing in the courtroom, Biden said the word “guilty” as each of the nine counts were read aloud. The change comes on the same day as jury selection was scheduled to begin in the case.By pleading guilty, Biden dodges a lengthy court trial. He faces a sentence of up to 17 years in prison and fines of up to $450,000.”

Comeuppance is a punishment or fate that someone deserves. It has several synonyms: deserved fate, just deserts, due, due reward, just punishment, retribution, requital; archaic recompense. Do admit that my favorite has to be just deserts.

But look at it this way – he does not have the blood of the martyrs on his hands like I do. His tax money was not used to kill thousands and thousands of innocents. Mine was.

How was he raised??? What value system and example did his parents provide him. His father and Dr. Jill??? It boggles the mind.

Look and listen to the value system he ‘inherited from his parents”.

The indictment alleges he spent large sums “on drugs, escorts and girlfriends, luxury hotels and rental properties, exotic cars, clothing, and other items of a personal nature”, while failing to pay taxes from 2016 through 2019.

The meaning of two expressions we will now explore. First boggle the mind,  Then immediately following: the banality of evil.

To boggle the mind is to utterly overwhelm or to be extremely difficult to understand or comprehend, typically due to complexity or abnormality. The verb boggle means to overwhelm or bewilder. This is where bobble comes from The word boggle comes from Middle English bugge, which meant specter (or, more generally, something inducing fear and confusion). By the 1590s, it meant to start with fright, as a horse might do if startled by something ghost-like.

Searching for banality of evil in the search engine of my blog came up with two entries which said nothing about it. But instead this, which is actually rather funny. It from my June 3, 2021 blog which was entitled. Losing My Penchant For Blogging; Possible Reasons Why; Penchant and Phenomena Defined; Six Reasons For Possible Lack of Enthusiasm Explored; Dumped Two Scamming Scum From My Existence: Two Funny Cartoons and My New Unicorn Popper

Two cartoons from The New Yorker also shall accompany this blog. One shows a couple wherein she is saying: “I’m starting to think this is a marriage that should have been an email.” Now that is funny and is definitely true of my three marriages – so it does make me laugh. The other equally amazing, about kicking someone’s ass. I have recently dumped two scummy scam that were littering my life. Do NOT follow Omair Hussein as previously recommended. He is blocked and permanently from my life. Also the guy that said he was Fazza – was not, of course. He ended up asking for money for an orphanage, received this response.
Me: I do not think so!!!Then blocked him immediately saying that his so-called business account on What’sApp was a scam. Just remember DNEFWMMcB – which means do not mess with me.”

Banality of evil is going to have to wait. Why??? Because my mind is totally boggled.

Several photos and a reel of me and my Palestinian scarf shall follow.
