CPI’s emails often contain cryptic comments about Vancouver and the world in general.
She: Rules, rules and regulations. Fanatics over social distancing. But now people are beginning to look funny without their face masks.
Me; I said something funny at the grocery store that the world was being spared by beauty because of the face mask rule. Everyone laughed except for some snippy woman who began to insult me. Some synonyms of cryptic are: enigmatic mysterious, hard to understand, mystifying, perplexing, puzzling, obscure, abstruse, arcane, oracular, Delphic, ambiguous, elliptical, oblique; f
My affection for the Sultan (aka Fazza aka The Crown Prince of Dubai) waxes and wanes but he is back in my good graced again. There is a YouTube of him inspecting and honouring police, fire and paramedic crews on May 24,2020. . He is wearing a mask, the crews are standing a proper distance from one another and he is speaking in a very animated and interested manner. Most impressive. Do have a look: https://youtu.be/5iCTTS9kf8c The very last scene has him saying Hello to an elephant and the elephant walks toward him and puts its trunk in his hand. It is very sweet. And then this poem from him: They say if you fall in love with their soul before you touch their skin it is true love.” That is a beautiful, romantic concept and one that is probably accurate. But one question? How to know and to fall in love with another person’s soul? I must remind myself to ask Wise Man that question when I see him next. In this day and age one should not be touching the skin of a potential partner, what with the virus and all. So all of that reminded me of such a tender moment between he and me. I was in my London hotel room with his sister, a Princess. We were somehow watching a YouTube video of Government Games, a gruelling physical fitness competition. It had occurred at least twice in Dubai. It was ridiculous the feats that were expected of the participants. The Sultan was the leader of one time, there were many others. The Sultan and his team won, two years in a row. Most impressive! So we were watching, the Princess and Alexis and I either texted him or spoke to him, cannot remember which.
Me: I am watching Government Games. Do you have a death wish, are you determined to die before I do, even if I am older than you???
He: (Expletive, not to be revealed)
Me: But you were such an incredible leader of your men, inspiring them to do well, supporting them and providing such a good example!
He: Shut up!
Me: Why do you get to swear and not me. Hahahah
Here is the link to one of the Government Games. It begins with the Sultan striding into the venue looking most powerful, and, dare I say sexy. https://youtu.be/4XxG_Fgd6GY
Well I seriously doubt that the Crown Prince of Dubai can swear and state expletives to an older woman and have her laugh. It was probably a first. He cannot even say Shut Up to anyone, but he can to me. I just laugh and he does so listen to me, it has been revealed to me and I so appreciate it. I do!!!!! We will be fine, an expression used to people close to me when we have our battles.
So back to other men.Just to let folks know there were more men’s names added to the ‘romantic interests’ since April of 2016, I have an exceedingly logical mind, my scientific scores are in the 70s – the norm is in the 30s. So I put my logical mind to work, debating whether this blog had anything to do with it Ten of the men were known to read the blog, so it must be factor. The count is not that spectacular or sinful when you consider that I was living in London and there was no way I could develop a long lasting relationships and stay there when my student visa expired, so by necessity it had to be a brief relationship. Then, it was off to Vancouver, four a couple of years but left for San Francisco for many reasons including inordinately high taxes and a crummy medical care system. . Of course it would be impossible for any man to immigrate to the United States from Canada nor from the UK. . Then, does one count an Instagram catfish proposal a relationship? Other words for relationship are, relation, connection association, link, correlation, correspondence, parallel, tie-in, tie-up, alliance, bond, interrelation, interconnection; interdependence of. One forms a correspondence with a catfish, but not a bond or an alliance. So I am feeling better about myself already and this time around (should there be one) I will look around for an older man who lives around here. I am laughing. Personal Driver has a plan in mind, he is going to find me a man in Pakistan with a big house with air conditioning so I can settle down and have a normal life. Of course, that is not a possibility at the moment with all of the restrictions on air travel. Well, except if the man had a private jet because there would not be the contamination of travel and I could present a clean bill of health upon arrival. Received word that I can be tested for immunology. That is according to Wikipedia: Immunology is a branch of biology[ that covers the study of immune systems[2] in all organisms.[ Immunology charts, measures, and contextualizes the physiological functioning of the immune system in states of both health and diseases; malfunctions of the immune system in immunological disorders (such as autoimmune diseases,[4] hypersensitivities,[ immune deficiency,[ and transplant rejection]); and the physical, chemical, and physiological characteristics of the components of the immune system in vitro,[ in situ, and in vivo.] Immunology has applications in numerous disciplines of medicine, particularly in the fields of organ transplantation, oncology, rheumatology, virology, bacteriology, parasitology, psychiatry, and dermatology.
I do laugh about sex in these troubled times, saying that No Sex is the only Safe Sex. But my inventive mind came up with this. One could meet the love of your life, not touch his skin but engage in masturbation at a six foot distance. It is all rather kinky, admitted but perhaps better than nothing. Perhaps.
This so funny! I sent my blog of yesterday with an email which read:
Me: Today is Memorial Day but I cannot recall what is that we are supposed to be memoralizing. After completing blog I thought of three more guys – so its twenty romantic interests in 4 years. Unbelievable but true.
He: Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for honouring and mourning the military personnel who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
Me: I must be forgiven as none of my family died when serving in the United States Army.
Here is the incredibly said story for a family and for me. Grandfather George Dryburgh served with the Scottish Highlanders and came back alive, as did my father and other Dryburgh boys during WW11. But my maternal family suffered an incredible loss. They were a family of five, my mother the eldest. Only one boy, Allan Pirie. He served in the Canadian Army as a navigator. He was shot down by the Germans on my birthday – May 29th. 1943. It has been a personal curse for many reasons. I was the first person in the family to visit his grave when I was 28. I mourn his loss and what he would have become. As all know I went live in London and did want to stay there but could not, even with my American and Canadian citizenship. However, Germans could readily do so because of Brexit. How horrendously unjust. An incredible book was written and so a search engine on this blog. A book called Hitler’s Willing Executioners, written over ten years ago. I am fine! Living in the UK, for many reasons, would not have been a good idea. I laughingly and teasingly say:
Me: I would not have met two multibillionaires who were quite smitten by me.
Alter Ego: Yes, Alexis! But what did they do for you?
Me: Nothing actually. But there is Alix Residences in Malaysia and a request for The Alexis Opera House in Dubai.
Alter Ego: You make me laugh Alexis
Me: Me tool I am laughing
