I Meant to Blog About the Atrocities In New Zealand But Not Today Perhaps Tomorrow; We All Adore You; And Perhaps Why as Evidenced in a Elton John Song

I did mean to blog about the horror in New Zealand and even began. But I started to watch television and got terribly distracted by Josh Grogan, who I am actually not that fond of. But he sang an Elton John song, graciously giving him credit. I began to weep convulsively and soon I shall tell you why.

Yesterday I was at VAG and was talking to a staff member who does not have a nickname. He is a great guy and we were talking about a problem in my life that includes Equinox gym.

Me: AND I know a man high up the food chain at the Equinox and he adores me. I know!

He: We ALL do. We all adore you.

Me: Oh my goodness! I am going to cry and I will blog this!

He: I would expect no less.

So here is the Elton John song.

“She’s Always A Woman”

She can kill with a smile

She can wound with her eyes

She can ruin your faith with her casual lies

And she only reveals what she wants you to see

She hides like a child

But she’s always a woman to me

She can lead you to love

She can take you or leave you

She can ask for the truth

But she’ll never believe you

And she’ll take what you give her as long as it’s free

Yeah, she steals like a thief

But she’s always a woman to me

Oh, she takes care of herself

She can wait if she wants

She’s ahead of her time

Oh, and she never gives out

And she never gives in

She just changes her mind

She will promise you more

Than the Garden of Eden

Then she’ll carelessly cut you

And laugh while you’re bleedin’

But she’ll bring out the best

And the worst you can be

Blame it all on yourself

Cause she’s always a woman to me

Oh, she takes care of herself

She can wait if she wants

She’s ahead of her time

Oh, and she never gives out

And she never gives in

She just changes her mind

She is frequently kind

And she’s suddenly cruel

She can do as she pleases

She’s nobody’s fool

But she can’t be convicted

She’s earned her degree

And the most she will do

Is throw shadows at you

But she’s always a woman to me

And it suddenly, instantly explained to me the nature of my appeal to both men and women. (children as well and occasionally dogs). I am still crying, not sure why but I am. The woman portrayed is totally me, as all of you who know me will attest. Attest: corroborate, confirm, verify, substantiate, document, authenticate, give proof of, provide evidence of, evidence, demonstrate, evince, display, exhibit, show, manifest, prove, endorse, back up, support, guarantee; affirm, aver, swear to, testify to, bear witness to, bear out, give credence to, vouch for; Law depose to; informal stick up for, throw one’s weight behind; rare asseverate. ANTONYMS disprove.

So the song evidences and manifests why people are drawn to me. And goodness knows I have earned my degree. Hahahaha
