The strangest thing just happened. Well other than the fact that it is raining ash from the fires. I had left my window open and the sash is covered with a fine coat of ash. So I closed the window, pulled down the shade and will soon squirt some cleaning stuff and wipe it off.
But here is the other strange occurrence. Up popped a pdf, unsolicited. It was written in 2017, that much I know and it appears that it was written to Joo Kim Tiah – the multibillionaire who owned the Trump but it closed and his company also declared bankruptcy. This was in the good old days – I had volunteered to be a General of Sass and he asked what benefit that might be and what was sass. So I answered him in the following manner. I was living in Vancouver at the time but visiting Marin – probably for medical care. It is undated.

To thoroughly appreciate this you need to appreciate the fact that I am 100% Scottish. All of my ancestors on both sides of the family come from Scotland. You may be 100% Malaysian, I do not know. Are you? Now this I have never heard of but here we go. Sass A northern Scottish word meaning the period before you go out with the person. For example: Person 1: ‘Are you and Lisa sassing?’ Person 2: ‘Yes we’ve been flirting a lot recently. I think I might ask her out’ Person 1: ‘Go for it man’ What makes this more than just unusual is that we can be said to be in a sass period, due to the fact that we have never gone “out”. I do admit, however, that I did not have that in mind when I applied for the position of General of Sass and Softness. The definition of sass that is most to my liking is this one. a sass is a thugged out girl, devoid of color, white even, often sported in a cheerleading uniform or uttering the word “pshaw!”
I do not know what thugged means but the cheerleading uniform and “pshaw” I can definitely related to. I just found out that my USA cell phone plan is not working so I have to go and solve the problem. I do not have Generals or even soldiers for that matter.”
Now that is strange enough but here is another strange occurrence. The synonyms of occurrence are: event, incident, happening, phenomenon, affair, matter, circumstance. This event took place approximately thirty minutes ago. I was texting a young woman from Qatar, telling her that I had learned that when I join the faith I will get a Muslim name.
Me: I like Alexis, but it will be interesting to acquire a Muslim name. A woman in Pakistan is praying, I think and shall give me a choice of three names.
She: What about Ayla? It is similar to Alexis. Alya means Queen and you are the Queen of Hearts. I think it suits u.
Me: I rather like that and perhaps I shall become a queen. Hahahaha
She: Hahahaha yes queen

So as you can see my life is most improbable. By the way, the young woman from Qatar obviously has a great sense of humour and is extremely intelligent and hard working.

For some reason, it is not true of the Emir of Qatar – not sure why but that can be explored at a later time.
I am in a very good mood despite major health problems being faced. Almost all of my tests have been scheduled (or shall be later this afternoon). Wise Man was most helpful yesterday, examining the referral from the ophthalmologist and explaining the positive findings made by the physician. I am in very good hands with much concern coming from many fronts and sources. Excellent physicians with support staff that excel, excellent health care, facilities with the latest technologies. Also on another level – the prayers of many, here in the USA but also Pakistan and Qatar. I do need to be patient but as many of you know – patience is not one of my virtues.
This is very ironic. Healthgrades sends unsolicited emails. A recent announced “Top Places to Catch Covid-19. Dutifully I opened the email, there were six ‘suggestions’ The first? Household. WHAT??? We are supposed to be home sheltered to prevent the spread of the disease. It made me feel most fortunate that I live alone. I cannot catch it from myself. Hahahaha These are indeed crazy times.
