My World Turns Topsy Turvey; No Efforts Made to be Brave or Upbeat; A Strange Song Comes to Mind

It feels like everything fell apart just when things were going so smoothly. I opened an email last evening that announced that my replacement knee surgery had been resettled from April 22 to May 13. What does that mean to me? Everything at this moment. Three more weeks of incredible pain, rescheduling EVERYTHING. I am not rising to the occasion in my typical fashion. I am feeling utterly defeated. What next? Just when everything appears to be going well the rug is pulled out from under me. I am in utter misery.

Somehow a song comes to me and I google it. The name of the song is A Little Bitty Tear Here are the lyrics

.

A little bitty tear let me down

Spoiled my act as a clown

I had it made up not make a frown

But a little bitty tear let me down

You said you were leaving tomorrow

That today was our last day

I said there’d be no sorrow

That I’d laugh when you walked away

A little bitty tear let me down

Spoiled my act as a clown

I had it made up not make a frown

But a little bitty tear let me down

I said I’d laugh when you left me

Pull a funny as you went out the door

That I’d have another waiting

And I’d wave goodbye as you go

A little bitty tear let me down

Spoiled my act as a clown

I had it made up not make a frown

But a little bitty tear let me down

I am not going to force myself to be in a good mood. I am going to wallow in my misery. I posted a video on Instagram of me telling of my sorrows. Not many likes or responses. Clearly a great number of fair weather friends, .
